You guys….this is the best sweet I’ve had in a long time! Holy. Moly. And I kid you not, they’re healthy! And easy, if you don’t have a donut pan you can easily make these into muffins.

onto the recipe! (Because this momma doesn’t have time to sit and blog like she used to…clearly lol)

Maple pancake donuts

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 Tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/3 cup +2 Tablespoons maple syrup

2/3 milk (almond, soy, coconut, whatever you prefer!)

Maple icing

Powdered sugar

Maple syrup

Coconut bacon bits (be careful, these things are addicting!)

Preheat oven to 350°

Mix dry, mix wet, add wet to dry, mix to combine. Bake 8 mins or until toothpick comes out dry. Let cool before frosting (though I won’t judge if you don’t 😉 ). Slowly add maple syrup to powdered sugar until a nice drippy gooey spreadable consistency. After spreading it on top, sprinkle the bacon bits all over and stuff your face!
