  1. I follow your blog from last year. You are a volcano of ideas and I missed you in recent times but now I understand the reason, CONGRATULATIONS! (sorry for my bad english)

    • Thank you!! I’m hoping to get that great “burst of energy” that everyone keeps saying I should get in my second trimester, but we shall see!! I have lots of baby crafts that I look forward to making/posting! 🙂

  2. Congratulations! How exciting! I’ve just discovered your blog and looking forward to seeing more and following your new adventure!
You might be interested in the give away I’m currently running for your little one!
    All the best 🙂

    • Thanks so much!! 🙂 And oh my gosh…how cute are those necklaces?! Definitely interested!! 🙂

  3. Congratulations! It is so good to hear this! What a blessing! I am looking forward to your baby crafts for my bff is pregnant and due on or around 03 July, pending no problems. As I am unable to bear children, she has graciously allowed me to live vicariously through her pregnancy and I am going to be an aunt for the first time which makes me uber happy, though of course, quite jealous and sad at the same time too. Had some emotional problems in the beginning of her pregnancy and other junk and junk, etc. But congratulations to you and your husband and your dog too of course 😉

    • Thanks so much! And of course I’ll be posting lots of baby crafts!! Once I get that energy back 🙂

      • I should send my bff this way. That way she and I are on the same page when we go to do stuff with her new baby 😀

  4. This def explains everything 🙂 The first four months I literally disappear. So happy for you guys! Even if that burst of energy doesn’t come back for a while- its okay! you’re body is growing a baby! and its exhausting! I hope you post a POBOX or something so all of your blog followers can send you gifts 🙂 xx

    • Thanks so much Nancy!! 🙂 it IS exhausting growing a baby! Lol I’m just glad that other than the tired feeling, everything else is great 🙂 and I can’t help but smile even when I do get a sour stomach, because I know it’s for the best reason ever!! 🙂 I didn’t even think of posting a PO box! I would feel so bad asking for gifts, but at the same time so many of my followers are so creative I can only imagine what they’d do!

      • open a PO BOX!!! hmmm. how to advertise discreetly…. oh i KNOW! make a business card or invitation and have it close up enough we can read it! lol you are so lucky you are only tired!!! i always get SO jealous of women like you! i seriously DIE for about 3 1/2 months (i get the pregnancy illness called HG) then i spend my second trimester recuperating! very happy for you guys, always so exciting esp with the first baby! 🙂

    • Oh noooo you had HG?!!? That’s terrible!!!! I’m so sorry you had to go through that (though all worth it! 🙂 )…I’ve heard horror stories about it! When I’m having a good day, everything is great, but I definitely have bad days where my stomach is gross, and I’m tired and cranky and hungry (constantly by the way! lol), but compared to the moves and the horror stories I’ve heard, I feel like I did get lucky…though, I get this really weird symptom that no one else (other when I googled it) has said they’ve experienced…..you know when you’re hungry but you ignore it for way too long and after a while it gets to the point where your stomach hurts sooo bad you wanna just curl over and die, and if you don’t get something into it right this second you feel like you will die? Lol ….dramatic I know-but that’s what it feels like for me-and I get that pain within seconds! I can feel it begining and then within a minute its full blown and im in pain. It’s woken me up and I have to eat in the middle of the night (not the cute “oh I’m craving a chocolate sundae at 3 in the morning” type deal you’d see on tv) ….no like I’ll wake up and stuff a plain dry piece of bread down my mouth just so I can go back to sleep because there’s no way I can if I don’t eat something….as soon as I eat something it goes away, so it’s nothing more than hunger pains, but my goodness it stinks!! And drinking water only makes it worse!! And even better, it happens about every 2 hours…sometimes even sooner if I didn’t eat something more….so no bad morning sickness, but I get to go through that fun symptom lol….now I’ve learned to have food with me at all times and its not bad, but if I happen to be out without something it’s not fun….you DO NOT want to be around me! Lol now after the longest message ever….have you ever heard of someone else with that symptom??? I thought I was crazy so I googled it and there were people who had it, but no one I know personally!

      • you NEED to eat every two hours! you are supposed to eat every two hours! your baby is taking everything you have n you still need something for yourself to survive! this continues after the baby is born and i breastfed every two hours which means i continued to eat every two hours. in fact, i STILL need to eat every few hours or i feel dizzy. I know my mom and some friends say that had to snack like constantly. just nibble nibble nibble all day long. staying hydrated too so your baby has plenty liquid to swim around in 🙂 I did wake up a few times hungry. i always wanted rice krispies in milk or milk n plums. always milk. weird huh? are you checking out all the fun maternity stuff you’ll be wearing soon? I LOVE maternity clothes! lol

    • But I’m not snacking every two hours, I’m eating like, full n meals! One bagel isn’t enough! The pains are still there, I need two! If I just have a snack I get “The Hunger Pains” every half hour or so!! I’m really good with water, mostly because I’m just always thirsty, so I always have water on me, but my goodness, I didn’t know I’d be eating so much lol. I haven’t had any cravings (though when I WASN’T pregnant I’d get the weirdest cravings–go figure lol) the only thing that’s weird about my eating or whatever is I HATE peanut butter. It’s disgusting to me. From the first day I got morning sickness, the thought of eating it was gross. I mean you’re not supposed to eat it that often anyways because it can cause allergies or whatever, but still, it’s a good protein and i thought once in a while I could do it, but the other day I made a pb&j sandwich and blech!! I took like three grossss bites and that was it lol.

      • I can no longer eat lipton noodles or devilled eggs and my mom used to make the BEST devilled eggs! I couldn’t eat meat for months with my first so I ate a lot of refried bean burritos and raw nuts. The best part about eating when pregnant, is that you are TOTALLY allowed to gain like 100lbs! hahaha its the most guilt free time period of my life! lol i didnt gain too much with the first, i lost a lot of weight to start with n then i ate super healthy, tho my fat shifted and clothes didnt fit right. with axel it was a whole diff ball game bc healthy food made me sick! not kidding. that baby boy wanted chips, cookies, hot dogs and ribs! lol

    • So even after being pregnant you cant eat those?! im so scared ill never like peanut butter now! lol so far I’m loving healthy light fresh foods, though I also love disgusting and greasy haha….I’d say its a perfect balance….as of right now the peanut butter is the only thing I’m super grossed out by….I’m hoping nothing gets added to that! Lol I don’t have cravings but I’m in looove with apples…I love the crunch! I guess this can change though, so we’ll see! Crossing my fingers!

      • my mom said even after all these years (her baby is now 22!) she still sometimes cringes when cooking ground beef, but thats a DUH in my book. we don’t eat beef or pork anymore at home. only at social gatherings. my cousin said she couldn’t get enough of apples with her first baby. i couldn’t get enough of plums! i hope you are keeping a journal of this wonderful journey! starting a family is AMAZING. xx

    • Well apples and plums are a great thing to crave if you ask me! Haha 🙂 I’m keeping a weekly journal and taking pictures as well, though I slacked a little for the 3rd month (which was 2 weeks ago, and I’m taking the picture today) …I’ll just suck in the belly a little lol!

      • Do you know if you are having a boy or girl or is it a surprise? I totally wanted to know! I like to be prepared! We should be awarded for having the longest commentary ever on WordPress! lol

    • I know right!! Haha were finding out the sex in a few weeks! The first week of July!! I don’t know how people don’t find out…it’s driving me insane!! I’m having boy dreams, girl dreams, half the people say it’s totally a boy, the other half says definitely a girl…I’m going out of my mind crazy lol….I can’t wait to find out so I can start craftingggg!! There are so many things I want to make which won’t necessarily be pink for girl and blue for boy, but there are some prints at the fabric store that I’ve been eyeballing for both, and for certain projects (example, a blanket I want to make!) I don’t know whether to add lace or just plain satin around the edges! I also just feel like you bond better with the baby, you can start calling it by its name if you have one picked out….I just don’t get how people don’t find out! It’s a surprise either way! This way just helps you plan, organize, and bond better!!!

      • I have two boys and my mom said she knew right away that both were boys! i really want a girl! IF i ever have a girl, i am not pinky/purplely kind of chic. you can tell with the girl skirts i just finished up. all colours can be feminine. i LOVE red and cream, cream and white, all colours of cute small floral prints. now that i know how to make skirts, and only 1/4 yard for each skirt which equals CHEAP! i am itching to go shopping! but i made a personal goal to use up almost all my fabric before i shop for more. its too easy to hoard fabric and then it sits there for years! That and i’m running out of space. lol for my boys i wasnt all blue either. i was leaning on green 🙂 i dreamed only of a girl so I was surprised i had boys. well how exciting you get to find out soon!!! random new topic: do you have any fun crafts for 4th of July? I have been looking but nothing sang to me yet. and fathers day is this weekend! I know what I am making,,,, i love having the kids help making him something. the hubs adores everything i have given him so far! yay! i hope you announce if its a boy or girl and seriously, a POBOX pls? lol

  5. Congratulations!! That is the best thing in the world!!
