DIY Tissue Box Gift Tags

I’ve been getting over a cold lately….so I’ve been using up tissue boxes quite a lot–hence the tissue box revamp post the other day, and today’s post ;) I was sitting here looking at the empty box and thinking how cute the print was, when it came to me. Why not cut it up and make some tags!? It’s a GREAT way to reuse them…I don’t know when I’ll ever have the time to give these many gifts….buttt it’s also a cute extra to throw into a house warming gift basket, as a lot of people don’t think of something like that until the day they have to wrap a gift up!

I actually got a lot more tags than I thought I would. I got 6 each of the small and large, and 5 mediums. The small thin ones were from the top of the box, which I got 2 of. This all depends on the size of your tags, mine weren’t that big, even the largest one was only about 3 inches long. This little project really couldn’t get easier though, all I did was disassemble the box, trace the tags, cut them out, and punched holes at the top for some string. There are some really cute tissue boxes out there, so now you know to pick the cutest one when you buy! :) tissueboxtags

 P.S. – I got this box from the Dollar Tree :) tissueboxtags2

  1. Now I know what to do with my rectangular boxes lol…Since I have allergies I go through a lot of boxes so it will be no time at all before I go to your shape. Thank you for your inspirations.

  2. Amazing blog! I’ll definitely do this, but I wonder what font you used for the word “TAGS” on the last photo?

    • Thanks so much! 🙂 The font I used for TAGS is called Sketch Block. I use Picmonkey to edit my pictures, so I’m not positive if that’s what it’s called in other programs.
